There is always a slight spring in our step when we open our diary to March. The hope of longer days, brighter skies and warmer weather is enough to put a giant smile on our face and a spring in our step,( see what we did there). We’re all feeling a little bit bolder and prouder, so in the happy spirit, this month we want to showcase to you the bold statement looks and the bold statement cuffs you need to covert for an ideal lead into summer.
First up is a look reminiscent of the silver screen with old Hollywood glamour as our first jewellery theme to love. The stunning Clemancy Cuff which encompasses this trend to its core, is our first bold item to own. This design made from complete sterling silver has been handcrafted with a gently hammered finish. For a classic look we would suggest teaming with a crisp white shirt and tailored trousers. For something a little bit bold ( which we encourage you to try) clash this silver piece with neon colours like a head to toe pink and blue look.
For something a little bit alternative, yet simplistic and chic, touching on the high fibres trend seen at J.W Anderson and Acne Studios (we also mentioned it last month if you didn't know), play with the lovely Honey Horn Cuff in Natural/Black. To add a little bit of boldness to this timeless piece, wear one cuff on each arm and I would even suggest mixing up the colour palette. This would look killer with a utility jumpsuit, a slick of red lipstick and for when it gets warmer, a light denim jacket.
Our final jewel love for this season is the Katrina cuff. This spiral design has us thinking old school, Hermes, with its architectural designs and a nod to the modern perfections of Dinosaur Designs. This bold and beautiful spiral is made from sustainable Rosewood all the way from Bali in the most traditional handmade way. To coincide with this beautiful design we would suggest wearing this cuff with a printed smock dress and when the heat allows for it, go open-toe sandals, as you know you deserve it.
